In 2012, Metalsa implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial application. The initial implementation focused on extending EBS to support a newly incorporated organizational unit and to bring core finance workflows into alignment with the company structure.
Implementation work used Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.5 and an Oracle Database back end, with SQL Developer employed for technical data tasks. The engagement performed detailed business process analysis to identify required configuration changes, and it produced official technical design documentation that explained how to create and implement the adjustments and goals within Oracle E-Business Suite.
Deliverables included a packaged installation bundle prepared for Production deployment and monitored during rollout, indicating a controlled code and configuration promotion process. The work targeted ERP Financial capabilities such as organization unit mapping, ledger and accounting structure configuration, and the preservation of existing transactional functionality as the new organization unit was incorporated.
Governance activities centered on documenting technical design, coordinating finance and IT validation, and providing installation artifacts for Production change control. Oracle E-Business Suite served as Metalsa’s ERP Financial system, with implementation artifacts and monitoring supporting ongoing operations and maintenance.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Cloud HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017 Metalsa implemented Oracle Cloud HCM as its Core HR platform, initiating a multi-country deployment to support HR operations across USA, Mexico and South America. The implementation centered on Oracle Cloud HCM to consolidate employee master data and standardize HR functional workflows for the automotive manufacturing organization.
The project delivered Core HR functional capabilities aligned to standard cloud HCM patterns, including centralized employee records, position and workforce structures, transactional HR workflows, and embedded recruitment and learning processes. Oracle Recruitment integrations and Oracle Learning integrations were explicitly configured as part of the implementation, and Oracle Cloud HCM was used to orchestrate recruitment workflows and learning assignment across regions.
Operational architecture included cloud-hosted Oracle Cloud HCM paired with on-premise HD kiosks, the latter installed in USA, Mexico and South America to capture time and employee interactions at sites. The implementation notes specify integrations with Oracle HCM cloud from HD services and HD kiosk endpoints, and ongoing application support and issue resolution activities tied to those integrations.
Governance and rollout were managed through a dedicated project management function that analyzed all process areas involved in HD services, reviewed and resolved issues that could impact the project plan, and coordinated setup and installation of HD kiosks. The project management scope included configuration reviews, functional process mapping for recruitment and learning modules, and post-deployment support to stabilize Oracle Cloud HCM across the operational footprint.
