Metro Vancouver also regulates air quality, plans for urban growth, manages a regional parks system and provides affordable housing.
Scope and Challenges
The Group began its digital transformation with the implementation of Unit4 Business World while sunsetting Oracle PeopleSoft ERP. The transformation began at the end of 2016 and the pricing for the whole implementation project was $3 Million.

Unit4, a fast-growing leader in enterprise applications for service organizations, was chosen to provide its market-leading Business World ERP solution to help Metro Vancouver achieve its goals of streamlined processes and increased automation to better serve Greater Vancouver citizens.
On the other hand, Metro Vancouver's will continue to use PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 for Core HR, benefits, payroll, time and labor management.
Outcome and Implications
Implementing Business World will enable Metro Vancouver to streamline and automate many functions while providing an environment that can be configured in-house as business realities change. By eliminating many manual tasks, Metro Vancouver staff can concentrate on higher level work with the confidence that procurement, approvals, and reporting are straightforward activities based on sound data.
