| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | Andosi | 2021 | 2021 | In 2021, MicroRam Electronics implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as part of a broader Microsoft Dynamics 365 deployment that included Dynamics 365 Sales, operating within the ERP Financial category. The implementation was delivered by Andosi and targeted core business functions including sales, finance and operations for this electronic component brokering firm. Andosi configured Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with a heavy emphasis on seller productivity and quoting workflows, modifying their proprietary Quote Workbench into a Broker Workbench that replaces the standard Dynamics 365 interface. The Broker Workbench incorporates electronic broker specific features, on-the-fly part creation with automatic part linking to reduce errors, RFQ issuance workflows for vendor pricing, and embedded financial projection capabilities sourced from the Sales module. The architecture includes a purpose-built data warehouse that retains historical data available in real time, and an integrated flow between Dynamics 365 Sales and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central where customer orders trigger simultaneous creation of a purchase order to the supplier and a sales order in Business Central. The deployment leverages Microsoft Power Platform extensions and integrated communications across Microsoft Office and Dynamics 365, aligning application authentication and AI-enabled capabilities for a single Microsoft-connected environment. Governance and process changes were scoped and shaped by Andosi in collaboration with MicroRam leadership to streamline quoting and ordering, centralize financial analysis for sales and management, and establish a foundation for incremental capability additions. The implementation positions MicroRam to scale sales and operations with less incremental effort, and to extend Business Central and Dynamics 365 Sales functionality over time as business needs evolve. |
