| Epicor | Legacy | Epicor EAM | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2018 | 2018 | In 2018 Midfield Group implemented Epicor EAM as its Enterprise Asset Management solution to consolidate asset registers and improve maintenance planning across finance and operations. The deployment targeted the consumer packaged goods operating footprint in Australia and aligned asset data with management reporting used by production, inventory and finance stakeholders. Epicor EAM was configured to support standard Enterprise Asset Management capabilities, including an enterprise asset register, work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, spare parts inventory control and asset-linked costing and reporting. Configuration work emphasized linkage between asset activity and operational metrics, enabling management reports that captured production yield, material consumption and energy consumption for finance and operations reconciliation. The implementation integrated with Epicor ERP and transport and logistics software components that were being deployed concurrently, enabling inventory transaction reconciliation and asset level profitability analysis. Integration points focused on posting inventory journals to the general ledger, providing material consumption data on a weekly cadence and feeding maintenance and logistics cost lines into accounts payable and revenue billing workflows. Operational coverage emphasized collaboration between finance and operations teams, with site-level process changes documented for reference. Governance and process transformation accompanied the technical rollout, with business process documentation, internal controls and automated reporting layered onto the EAM and ERP workstreams. System and process improvement projects across Epicor ERP, transport software and the asset management workstream produced documented outcomes in the source project record, including accounting correct inventory costs, shortened accounts payable processing times and reduced billing delays, and a documented reference manual for finance and operations processes. |
