ECi Software Solutions Legacy ECi DDMSPlus Dealership Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, Mills Office Productivity implemented ECi DDMSPlus as its Dealership Management application to support core distribution operations. The deployment focused on the companys Canadian operations in Vancouver, supporting business functions across sales, parts, and service for a 100 employee distribution firm. ECi DDMSPlus was configured to deliver standard Dealership Management capabilities including inventory control, parts and service workflows, sales order processing, and financial posting integration. Configuration work included setting up transaction processing rules, master data schemas for parts and customers, and role based access for operations and service teams. The implementation included operational support of DDMSPLUS and ECiPLUS software and explicit integration work with Acumatica ERP and an EvoX website, with SQL and Excel used to provide data support and drive database conversion activities. Project tasks documented in the environment included creation of Generic Inquiries and Import Scenarios in Acumatica ERP to reconcile and import master and transactional data into ECi DDMSPlus. Governance emphasized IT support led data conversion, ongoing application administration, and maintenance of import scenario workflows, with part time IT contract resources performing SQL based data support and system administration. Process changes concentrated on formalizing import and inquiry tooling to ensure transactional continuity across inventory, sales, and service operations.
