In 2017 Minfy Technologies implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV as its ERP Financial application. The Dynamics NAV deployment was project managed under finance leadership while the company centralized ownership of Accounting and Finance functions during the February 2018 to November 2019 period.
The Microsoft Dynamics NAV implementation addressed core financial controls and operational accounting capabilities, covering general ledger workflows, accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, customer billing and project accounting. The deployment also incorporated budgeting, cash flow and working capital tracking, Capex and Opex monitoring, and MIS reporting to support finance and project controls.
Minfy conceived, developed and implemented a Project Initiation system to streamline and strengthen approval workflows for contract management, sales to delivery handover and billing. That Project Initiation system was operationally aligned with ERP project controls and order management processes to enforce approval checkpoints and compliance requirements across sales and delivery transitions.
Operational scope included finance, project delivery and sales handover processes at Minfy Technologies in Hyderabad, Telangana, with the CFO driving governance, internal controls, policy enforcement and the rollout of standardized compliance processes. Processes restructured during the implementation included contract approval workflows, billing authorization, and centralized MIS for finance and project stakeholders.
The program helped raise funds and helped plug revenue leakages while bringing cost efficiencies, outcomes which together helped increase EBITDA by 3 to 4 percent. Minfy Technologies Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP Financial supported Accounting and Finance function consolidation and tighter control over contract to cash and project initiation to billing lifecycles.
