Integrations were implemented with Message Exchange as the Access Point provider and with supplier ecosystems such as Xero and MYOB through the eInvoicing network, reflecting a supplier-first onboarding strategy that prioritized high-volume invoice senders. Onboarding combined targeted testing with major suppliers and a receive first, resolve issues approach for others, extending the operational scope across MSD accounts payable operations and coordinating learning with other government agencies using similar finance systems.
Governance included a structured change management program, extensive internal communications, and comprehensive process documentation to educate staff on eInvoicing workflows and exception handling.
