Dayforce Legacy Ceridian Dayforce Benefits Benefits Administration HCM n/a 2012 2012
In 2012, Molson Coors implemented Ceridian Dayforce Benefits as its core Benefits Administration platform. The program was executed in the context of a consolidated HR estate after Molson Coors and Miller Coors moved to a single HR system, Success Factors Employee Central, and focused on unifying benefits configuration and enrollment across the combined organization. The implementation included configuration of core benefits administration workflows typical to the category, including enrollment and eligibility processing, benefits vendor interfaces, and payroll handoff points. Ceridian Dayforce Benefits was configured to support inbound and outbound interfaces for the selected benefits provider and for Ceridian as the payroll provider, with attention to data mapping and transactional sequencing between benefits enrollment and payroll deductions. Integrations were a central element of the rollout, with explicit integration points to Success Factors Employee Central for master HR data, a Passport identity management system provisioned to support tester access and identity flows across 45 countries, and bidirectional interfaces to benefits carriers and payroll. The scope of operational coverage included HR, payroll, and learning and management teams, and the project contributed inputs to a Global Headcount Report built from the company headcount definition. Governance and rollout practices were formalized under project management and test leadership. A test approach was developed to support Passport identity provisioning and end to end validation, test scenarios were documented and tracked using SharePoint to capture instructions, comments and testing status, and business requirements were developed to align Success Factors LMS capabilities with the new benefits and HR data flows.
