| SAP | Legacy | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014, Monoprix implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its core ERP Financial platform. The deployment positioned SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to handle transactional finance and operational back office processes across retail finance and procurement domains.
The implementation included SAP modules RE-FX, MM, CO, PS, and FI, alongside specific Dynpro Java Web applications to support specialized workflows. SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was configured to manage financial accounting, controlling, materials management, project systems, and real estate management capabilities, aligning transactional posting, cost control, project costing, and lease management.
External application integration was a central element of the architecture. The Determine e-procurement solution was interfaced with SAP for purchasing documents, budgets, suppliers, cost centers, and companies, and it synchronized user and role data with the company directory. Orchestra NQI was integrated for project and portfolio management, exchanging projects, budgets, purchasing documents, and activity reports with SAP, while also consuming user information from the company directory. JIRA Software Cloud was present for issue and delivery tracking, and Hyperion from Oracle provided Planning, HFM, Essbase, Excel add-in, and Smartview capabilities as the Planning and consolidation layer alongside SAP ERP ECC 6.0.
Operational scope covered procurement, finance, project management, real estate management, and IT operations, with master data and identity provisioning centralized via the company directory interfaces. Governance and workflow changes emphasized consolidated master data, role based access provisioning, and integrated budget and purchasing approval flows between SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and the e-procurement and PPM systems to ensure consistent transactional and project financial data across the ERP Financial landscape.
