Zebra Technologies Legacy Zebra Reflexis Task Manager Task Management HCM n/a 2023 2023
In 2023, MPREIS Supermarkt implemented Zebra Reflexis Task Manager as a Task Management solution to address store-level communication gaps and inconsistent tracking of task completion and quality. The deployment was driven by a need to adapt to changing customer behavior, including less frequent shopping and pressure on prices, while improving operational quality across stores. The Zebra Reflexis Task Manager rollout emphasized core Task Management capabilities, including centralized task assignment and scheduling, mobile task reporting for store associates, configurable checklists and quality checks, and real-time task completion tracking and status visibility. The implementation configured workflows to surface overdue tasks and to standardize task quality inspections, aligning store-level execution with corporate operational guidance. Operational coverage focused on store operations, engaging store associates, store managers and central operations teams to centralize assignments and visibility across MPREIS Supermarkt locations. Governance changes included standardized task workflows and audit trails to improve accountability and to make task status and quality visible to store and corporate stakeholders. Reported outcomes included improved communication between stores, increased staff efficiency which allowed associates more time to focus on customer service, and enhanced visibility into task management and quality. These outcomes supported MPREIS Supermarkt’s objective to deliver better quality while maintaining competitive pricing through more consistent store execution.

GK Software Legacy GK RetailPOS Point Of Sale ERP Services and Operations n/a 2011 2011
In 2011, MPREIS Supermarkt deployed GK RetailPOS in a Point Of Sale implementation across its supermarket estate, using GK SOFTWARE AG’s GK/Retail suite to re-equip store IT services. The deployment targeted approximately 182 supermarkets across Austria and northern Italy, aligning the GK RetailPOS application with MPREIS’s store concepts and retail operations. The implementation combined GK RetailPOS at the transaction layer with broader store and enterprise solutions from the GK/Retail suite, including the relocation of individual store servers to an Enterprise Lean Store Server hosted at MPREIS corporate headquarters. Functional capabilities delivered were aligned with Point Of Sale workflows, encompassing cashier transaction processing, centralized pricing and assortment provisioning, and store-level operational resilience through a mixed on-site and HQ-hosted server topology. Architecturally, the project centralized store server management by consolidating server instances from individual supermarkets to the Enterprise Lean Store Server at headquarters, establishing a hub-and-spoke model for software distribution, configuration management, and patching. Operational coverage included store operations, IT operations, and merchandising across all MPREIS supermarket sites, and the deployment supported standardized configurations across the estate. Governance and rollout emphasized company-wide standardization of store IT and a phased rollout across the 182 stores to ensure consistent GK RetailPOS configuration and centralized server relocation. The program was executed to re-equip MPREIS store IT services while supporting continuity of point of sale operations and centralized operational control.
