In 2014 Musgrave began a targeted reporting implementation tied to Oracle E-Business Suite, deploying EBS 12.1.3 with OBIA 11.1.1.8.1 during a November 2014 to August 2015 engagement. The project was scoped to deliver ERP Financial reporting capabilities across the Group and to operationalize regular near real time reporting cadence from transactional sources.
A seven person delivery team led by a Technical Team Lead executed the work, comprising two functional consultants and four developers. The technical lead reviewed the environment build after taking over responsibility from Oracle and instituted processes to maintain environmental integrity in both DEV and SIT environments, formalizing build and maintenance controls for reporting environments.
The implementation delivered OBIA Oracle reporting functionality against Oracle E-Business Suite, with the team building required measures within the RPD to meet Divisional and Group reporting requirements. The team produced approximately 250 reports and configured OBIA reporting layers to surface consolidated financial measures for group level reporting.
Data integration and operational reporting cadence were addressed through ODI Data Lineage to enable end to end data capture, and by tuning ELT mini runs to complete in under 10 minutes. Those ELT windows were calibrated to support twice or three plus hourly updates, enabling semi real time refreshes of the OBIA reporting layer and tighter operational reporting cycles.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle OBIEE | Analytics and BI | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, Musgrave implemented Oracle OBIEE as its Analytics and BI platform. The engagement concentrated on developing and maintaining business intelligence reports with a senior consultant using Ebusiness Suite, ODI/Informatica, Oracle database technologies, Oracle OBIEE, and BI Publisher.
The technical architecture centered on Oracle OBIEE as the analytics presentation and semantic layer, with development of the RPD logical model and subject areas, interactive dashboards, and BI Publisher for pixel formatted and scheduled reporting. ETL and data orchestration responsibilities were handled through ODI and Informatica workflows loading cleansed transactional data into Oracle schemas for reporting.
Integrations included direct consumption of transactional data from Ebusiness Suite into the ETL layer, ODI/Informatica pipelines into Oracle databases, and Oracle OBIEE delivering governed access to semantic models and report catalogs. The implementation supported finance and operational reporting use cases, in particular finance, procurement, merchandising, and supply chain reporting across corporate functions.
Operational governance emphasized a report lifecycle and change control process, ongoing maintenance and tuning by the senior consultant, and scheduled publishing through BI Publisher. Oracle OBIEE was the centralized Analytics and BI engine providing consolidated reporting and semantic consistency for Musgrave.
