In 2019, Muzo implemented SAP Business One. SAP Business One was deployed as the ERP Financial backbone to coordinate inventory control, production scheduling for custom orders, warehouse operations, shipment documentation, and employee time and attendance tracking.
The implementation configured inventory management and replenishment workflows to ensure stock levels for both custom builds and standard SKU replenishment, and it embedded production scheduling capabilities to align shop floor runs with customer orders. Warehouse operations were instrumented through SAP Business One to manage incoming and outgoing shipments and to support periodic stock take procedures.
Operational coverage included warehouse, production, operations, finance, and HR related timekeeping functions, with SAP Business One used to verify and periodically create Bills of Lading for outgoing shipments and to ensure orders are filled in a timely manner. The system supported time and attendance administration, including paid time off tracking, to centralize labor records alongside inventory and order fulfillment data.
Governance and process workstreams were established to formalize stock take procedures, shipment verification, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve facility practices, with direct collaboration between system operators and the CEO on product development and special projects. SAP Business One is described here in the context of Muzo as an ERP Financial application supporting inventory, production, shipping, and workforce management.
