In 2007 Mysoft implemented Sage Business Cloud X3 (ex Sage ERP X3) as its ERP Financial solution for wholesale, distribution and manufacturing customers in the United Kingdom. The decision leveraged Mysoft’s prior experience with Adonix X3 and the company’s subsequent partnership with Sage, enabling Mysoft to sell, implement and support Sage Business Cloud X3 across UK and international accounts. The deployment capitalized on the product’s multi-legislation, multi-language, multi-company and multi-currency capabilities, and on its built-in development environment to support customer-specific tailoring. Implementation emphasis targeted manufacturing and distribution process workflows together with the service and CRM capabilities included with Sage Business Cloud X3.
The implementation included configuration of manufacturing, inventory and distribution functional modules, together with the service and CRM module, and provisioning of core financial modules consistent with the ERP Financial category such as general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable and costing. Mysoft performed Anglicisation and local configuration work to align tax, reporting and language settings to UK requirements, and used the application development environment for bespoke customizations. Project work combined consultancy, software development and systems configuration to adapt Sage Business Cloud X3 to client operational models.
Operational coverage focused on UK customers and included a large jointly run international project with Sage France, demonstrating cross-border deployment coordination. Integrations were delivered through Mysoft’s bespoke development work and consultancy services to connect Sage Business Cloud X3 to customers’ operational processes. Delivery relied on a partner-led implementation model with Mysoft providing ongoing support, training and project management as part of client engagements.
To support rollout and delivery Mysoft established governance and delivery practices centered on a nucleus of experienced X3 personnel, forming teams for consultancy, support, software development and project management. The company formalized configuration management, knowledge transfer and training processes, and expanded its relationship with Sage to provide training and development resources back to the vendor. These governance practices underpinned repeatable implementations and sustained professional services delivery for Sage Business Cloud X3.
As a result Mysoft established itself as a fully fledged Sage X3 partner in the UK and sustained a pipeline of implementations and professional services engagements for ERP Financial customers in manufacturing, distribution and service functions. Sage Business Cloud X3 remains positioned by Mysoft for customers requiring multi-company and multi-legislation ERP Financial capabilities.
