SAP ERP ECC 6.0 was configured to deliver standard ERP Financial capabilities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and period close workflows, and was adapted to support payroll handoffs with SAP HCM modules.
Architecture and integrations tied SAP ERP ECC 6.0 into the bank's broader application estate, including FIS Global profile core banking, NBP Internet Banking, AML screening systems, KONDOR treasury functions and THETA loan origination. The technical stack referenced in the implementation included IBM Power Blade servers, IBM Power 740 Express, HP Superdome2 platforms and virtualization for Big Data Hadoop on VMware vSphere, with security monitoring via IBM QRadar V7.2, and infrastructure work that included migrating SAP from REDHAT 5.6 to AIX and supporting FIS GTM migration to IBM Power 8 AIX 7.1.
Operational governance emphasized system security and availability, led by the bank's Senior Security and System Architecture functions who maintained UNIX and Linux base servers and enforced security policy across the SAP landscape.
