In 2018, National Instruments deployed MineralTree Inspyrus to centralize accounts payable operations and improve invoice processing. The MineralTree Inspyrus AP Automation implementation targeted accounts payable intake and processing across multiple regions, aligning the AP business function with automated invoice ingestion, workflow orchestration, and standardized reporting.
TekStream Solutions implemented the Inspyrus platform and integrated MineralTree Inspyrus with Oracle E-Business Suite, creating a connected architecture that unified global AP processes and reporting across National Instruments processing centers. Functional components implemented included automated invoice ingestion, configurable workflow routing, centralized reporting and audit trails, and orchestration of approvals to standardize processing across sites.

In 2019 National Instruments implemented Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management to centralize absence and time-off administration across its global HR environment. Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management was deployed as part of a broader set of Oracle Human Capital Management modules, and National Instruments used the solution to establish a consolidated Absence and Leave Management capability alongside Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management and Oracle Recruiting Cloud.
Configuration work included Manager Self-Service and Employee Self-Service enablement, adoption of Oracle Fusion HCM New User Experience and Mobile, and targeted re-implementation of Fusion Compensation to align with global compensation processes. The implementation incorporated Advanced Benefits functionality and the Fusion Talent Management suite to maintain consistent absence, benefits and talent workflows.
The Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management deployment was integrated into an existing Oracle-centric architecture, retaining integrations back to Oracle EBS modules including HR, Financials, CRM and Manufacturing and operating alongside a set of third party vendor integrations such as Peoplefluent for recruitment. Operational coverage was explicitly global, with prior projects and rollout activity spanning more than 25 countries across the Americas, Europe and Asia and supporting National Instruments’ international HR, managers and a large recruiter population.
Governance and process restructuring accompanied the technical rollout, with an HR Technology Section Manager leading an international team to globalize HR processes and introduce Manager Self-Service and mobile user experiences. Data consolidation and migration efforts were executed to improve HR data integrity by integrating Fusion HCM data into the enterprise environment, and the absence application was positioned as the centralized Absence and Leave Management system within NI’s Oracle HCM footprint.

In 2015 National Instruments implemented MicroStrategy ONE Analytics as an Analytics and BI platform to centralize executive and board reporting, revenue analytics, and customer intelligence. The deployment targeted C-Suite and Board of Directors quarterly and yearly updates and aimed to provide a single authoritative source for structured and self-service reporting.
MicroStrategy ONE Analytics was configured to deliver in-depth custom reports and automated reporting infrastructure, enabling scheduled executive packages and ad hoc self-service analysis. The implementation included structured reporting templates for quarterly and annual updates, automated report generation to reduce manual inconsistencies, and support for sensitivity analysis workflows related to price changes.
The implementation leveraged a hybrid analytics architecture, integrating MicroStrategy ONE Analytics with big data tooling such as Hadoop and with traditional BI platforms including OBIEE and Tableau to develop scalable insights solutions. A SaaS analysis dashboard in Tableau was created to depict service revenue and renewal rates, while analytical data sets were built to link customer intelligence with other enterprise data for trend analysis, correlation analysis, and advanced analytics.
Governance was oriented around data integrity, workflow issue remediation, and process improvement, with analyst teams advising management on business process changes and data quality controls. The program emphasized automating reporting to save time and reduce inconsistencies significantly, while preserving structured reporting for executive stakeholders and enabling broader self-service access across finance and customer analytics functions.
