The Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management deployment was integrated into an existing Oracle-centric architecture, retaining integrations back to Oracle EBS modules including HR, Financials, CRM and Manufacturing and operating alongside a set of third party vendor integrations such as Peoplefluent for recruitment. Operational coverage was explicitly global, with prior projects and rollout activity spanning more than 25 countries across the Americas, Europe and Asia and supporting National Instruments’ international HR, managers and a large recruiter population. Governance and process restructuring accompanied the technical rollout, with an HR Technology Section Manager leading an international team to globalize HR processes and introduce Manager Self-Service and mobile user experiences. Data consolidation and migration efforts were executed to improve HR data integrity by integrating Fusion HCM data into the enterprise environment, and the absence application was positioned as the centralized Absence and Leave Management system within NI’s Oracle HCM footprint.

The program emphasized automating reporting to save time and reduce inconsistencies significantly, while preserving structured reporting for executive stakeholders and enabling broader self-service access across finance and customer analytics functions.
