In 2014 National Trust implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its core enterprise application. The Oracle E-Business Suite deployment is categorized as ERP Financial and was structured to support finance, order management, CRM and HR business functions across the organization.
The implementation used Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 modules for ERP, CRM, Order Management, Configurator and HR, with OBIEE deployed for reporting and Oracle UCM for enterprise content management. Oracle E-Business Suite was the primary transactional and financial system, instrumenting general ledger, payables and receivables workflows alongside order and configurator processes.
Deployment and delivery combined onshore and offshore development and testing resources, with named contributors including Oracle SSI India and Claremont, and a test analyst seconded to National Trust Head Office in Swindon from March 2014 to August 2014. Testing practice relied on HPQC for defect management and coordinated execution of system testing and user acceptance testing between onshore stakeholders and offshore teams.
Governance focused on structured test script creation and execution, defect lifecycle management and staged UAT sign offs, aligning release coordination between development teams and business process owners. The narrative centers on Oracle E-Business Suite as the ERP Financial backbone for finance, order management, CRM and HR functions within National Trust.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Cloud HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2014 | 2015 |
In 2014 National Trust implemented Oracle Cloud HCM to serve core personnel and payroll operations within its Core HR environment. The deployment established Oracle Cloud HCM as the primary system of record for employee lifecycle and payroll administration across the organization.
Configuration focused on Core HR capabilities and payroll processing, including employee records, position and job structures, payroll run orchestration and statutory payroll controls. Oracle Cloud HCM was configured to support workforce administration, absence management and HR reporting, aligning with standard Core HR functional workflows.
For over eight years Claremont has provided managed services across the Trust's Oracle estate, supporting Oracle HCM and Payroll and the National Trust Membership System, which creates an operational integration boundary between HR, payroll and membership operations. Integrations and operational interfaces were maintained between Oracle Cloud HCM and the Membership System to align membership-related HR processes and payroll inputs.
Operational scope covered HR and payroll processing for the UK based organization with approximately 11000 employees, and governance was structured around a managed services model with Claremont responsible for ongoing support, patching and application lifecycle management. Change control and release coordination were delivered through the managed services relationship to maintain configuration stability across Oracle Cloud HCM and connected systems.

In 2014, National Trust deployed Oracle OBIEE as an Analytics and BI platform to provide reporting and dashboarding across its Oracle application landscape. The effort was coordinated from National Trust Head Office in Swindon and involved onshore and offshore development and test resources to establish a centralized analytics layer.
Oracle OBIEE was configured to consume and present data from Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 modules, specifically ERP, CRM, Order Management, Configurator, and HR, with Oracle UCM present for content management workflows. The implementation emphasized structured report catalogs, interactive dashboards, and scripted analytics use cases to support system and user acceptance testing.
Testing governance included a six month secondment of a test analyst to Head Office who authored and executed system test and UAT scripts, and managed defect workflows using HPQC. Development and testing coordination involved onshore teams and offshore partners, including Oracle SSI India and Claremont, with processes centered on defect management, test script versioning, and staged UAT sign off for the Oracle OBIEE Analytics and BI deployment.
