The implementation scope covered finance and operational modules including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Projects, Inventory and Warehouse Management, Store and Lab systems, and IT Procurement. Workspaces and Power BI reporting were configured to provide role based analytics and operational workspaces, while custom Data Entities were developed to support data warehouse integrations and reporting pipelines. Integration workstreams were a major focus, including JDA integrations and multiple ISV integrations tied to retail operations, and a Concur Travel and Expense implementation that required integrations between HR, store systems, and the ERP. The program included the AX 2012 R2 upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations and subsequent platform maintenance upgrades from Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations 7.2 to 8.1, preserving continuity across retail and corporate systems. Governance centered on vendor relations and management across ISVs, Microsoft, and the Microsoft partner, with the Business Applications Manager acting as Project Manager and Solutions Architect on key initiatives. Project oversight included resource and timeline management, technical architecture for integrations and data entities, and operational ownership for rollout across store, lab, and IT procurement functions.

Operational ownership and day to day screening processing were assigned to compensation and HR operations roles, for example a Compensation Coordinator in Duluth, GA who handled workforce portal requests, audits, SERVE responses and digital file maintenance, and file clerks who maintained scanned records. Governance focused on embedding screening queues into existing HR intake and audit processes, aligning adjudication routing to compensation and HR operations, and preserving digital audit trails through integrated scanning and reporting systems.
