| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle E-Business Suite | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2011 | 2011 |
In 2011, NCR implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment targeted core finance and procurement functions within NCR's banking and financial services operations and explicitly supported accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchase order processing, I-expense, and general ledger modules.
Oracle E-Business Suite configurations included transactional AR and AP workflows, purchase order to invoice matching and PO controls, I-expense for employee expense capture and approval, and GL ledger structures to support financial reporting and period close processes. The implementation emphasized application-level controls and role-based segregation of duties while standardizing fiscal calendar and chart of accounts constructs consistent with ERP Financial practices.
Operational coverage centered on finance, accounting, and procurement teams across NCR's United States finance organization, with the system serving as the primary record-to-report and procure-to-pay backbone. Oracle E-Business Suite provided the integrated transactional flows between AR, AP, PO, I-expense, and GL functional areas.
Governance and workflow restructuring aligned approval workflows and access controls to finance and procurement roles, consolidating procure-to-pay and record-to-report processes under a centralized ERP Financial control model. The narrative focuses on the Oracle E-Business Suite functional footprint implemented for NCR and the operational scope across its finance organization.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2018 | 2019 |
In 2018, NCR Corporation implemented Workday Absence Management to standardize its Absence and Leave Management capabilities across the organization. The deployment targeted Workday Absence Management as a component of a broader Workday footprint supporting Core HCM, Time, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent and Performance Management for an organization of roughly 34,000 employees.
Configuration work centered on Workday Absence Management functional modules, including Request Time Off and Request Leave of Absence business processes. NCR built Time Off and Absence plans for various countries and developed accrual calculations and country-specific leave rules, while creating advanced calculated fields and complex reports to support operational reporting and eligibility logic.
Integrations were executed using Workday EIB for inbound and outbound loads, XML and XSLT transformations, and Workday Web Services to exchange absence, time and benefits data with downstream HR and payroll adjacent systems. Operational scope explicitly covered HR, Benefits, Timekeeping and Talent workflows, with business process definitions implemented to reflect multi-country requirements.
Governance and operational support followed an established cadence, including creation of custom business process definitions, condition rules, validation rules and alerting, plus ongoing production support handling of tickets and bi-yearly Workday release adoption with the business. Workday Absence Management was therefore embedded with policy-driven workflows and structured release governance to maintain alignment with evolving country requirements.

| Salesforce | Legacy | Salesforce Service Cloud Case Management | Case Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, NCR deployed Salesforce Service Cloud Case Management as a centralized Case Management solution to support its customer service operations. The implementation targeted cross functional use across Service, Sales and Marketing, and positioned Salesforce Service Cloud Case Management to support NCR Corporation business functions in customer support, call center operations and CRM driven service workflows.
Configuration work included creation of Email Templates and Mail Merge Templates for standard and custom objects, and extensive customization using Apex classes, Visualforce pages, controller classes and Apex triggers. The deployment encompassed Sales Cloud applications for call center and marketing workflows, managed forecasts, contract management, and pipeline maturity tracking, and built marketing campaign reports to feed integrations with marketing systems.
Integration architecture used SFDC Integration patterns with REST and SOAP Web Service APIs to extract data from external systems and to synchronize subscriber and campaign data with Marketing Cloud ExactTarget. Marketing Cloud work included subscriber data management, imports and segmentation, Automation Studio jobs for imports, extracts and SQL query activities, and operational coupling between Salesforce reporting and Marketing Cloud data flows. Salesforce Lightning Web Components were developed and rolled out to a small set of users as part of a phased UI modernization.
Governance and rollout emphasized collaboration with business process owners to capture requirements, iterative deployments across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud modules, and ongoing user support and troubleshooting for large enterprise configuration. The implemented Salesforce Service Cloud Case Management capability was explicitly used to improve customer retention and service delivery, and to centralize case handling and CRM driven service processes at NCR.
