In 2015, Neotel North Macedonia implemented Odoo Field Service as part of a Field Service Management initiative. NeoData, an Odoo Ready Partner, delivered the implementation for Neotel D.O.O., a telecommunications operator providing broadband, telephony, leased lines, hosting and colocation over WiMAX and an inhouse optical network, with the objective of consolidating customer, service and billing workflows into a single system.
The deployment configured core Odoo modules including CRM and Sales Management alongside Manufacturing Resource Planning MRP, plus two custom modules for Payments and Services. Odoo Field Service was configured to support service order lifecycle activities and to align service records with sales and MRP for equipment provisioning and parts planning, while the Payments custom module centralized invoicing and payment capture inside the same application.
Integrations included a direct connection to Neotel s MySQL database to enable data synchronization between customer master records, active services, billing and payments. Operational scope spanned sales, billing, customer service and operations functions, unifying previously disparate data sources so teams accessed a single source of truth for customer balances and service inventories.
NeoData established synchronization jobs and governance around customer and billing data to reduce ad hoc Excel reconciliations and external analysis workflows. Reported outcomes from Neotel include saved working hours, increased efficiency in customer interactions, consolidated access to data in one application, faster information access for sales, enhanced customer and service analysis and improved identification of target groups for new offers.
