Nobilis Health Corp. is a publicly traded company and a full-service healthcare development and management company, with more than 30 locations across Texas and Arizona, including hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and multi-specialty clinics. In addition, Nobilis Health partners with more than 30 facilities across the country. Marketing nine independent brands, Nobilis Health deploys a unique patient acquisition strategy driven by proprietary, direct-to-consumer marketing technology, focusing on a specified set of procedures that are performed at our centers by local physicians. To ensure we are providing patients with the highest quality of care possible, Nobilis strategically partners with an extensive network of highly specialized, board-certified, fellowship trained surgeons who focus on minimally invasive surgery, making it our mission to provide patients with superior medical care and increased patient satisfaction. In order for our physicians to provide top-notch care, they rely on state-of-the-art technology and highly specialized staff, both of which are found in every Nobilis facility. Our partner physicians maintain the autonomy of their own private practice while benefiting from increased patient flow through our marketing campaigns, striving toward the common goal of high quality medicine with even higher quality service to our patients. To maximize individual patient value, every patient is paired with a patient coordinator months ahead of surgery. From the outset, our team of patient coordinators' only focus is to make the process of getting surgery as clear and simple as possible for each patient. We strive to provide patients with a concierge-style experience, helping patients identify and fully understand the best treatment options available to them, so they can make the most informed decision possible. Combining responsible marketing with execution excellence, Nobilis Health's integrated marketing approach effectively moves the patient along the health care continuum, from awareness and education to active research and commitment. This integrated, end-to-end marketing proposition is a core competency, which separates Nobilis from other surgical centers and treatment facilities.

In 2015, Nobilis Health implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP to support ERP Financial operations. The deployment targeted payables management across six surgery centers and three clinics and established check run processing covering nine facilities.
The implementation centered on the Accounts Payable functional set within Microsoft Dynamics GP, including vendor maintenance setup, 1099 processing, invoice entry and GL coding validation. Dynamics GP was used for ad hoc reporting needs, with teams exporting Aging reports to Excel for review and analysis, and the system supported daily, accurate invoice posting workflows.
Operationally the solution was configured to manage the full book of payables with weekly vendor payments orchestrated from Dynamics GP, and an A/P workflow solution was fully integrated with Microsoft Dynamics GP to enforce approval routing. Accountabilities included management of three central email accounts for vendor correspondence and a senior accounts payable employee responsible for daily processing and vendor maintenance.
Governance incorporated formal approval checks for correct GL coding and vendor payment terms, plus service level expectations for vendor communications that require returning phone calls within 24 hours and e-mails within 48 hours. New employee training and role-based oversight were instituted to support consistent check run processing and to ensure invoices were properly approved before payment.
The deployment directly supported accounts payable and finance functions at Nobilis Health by standardizing vendor maintenance, 1099 workflows, invoice accuracy controls and weekly pay cycles to ensure invoices are paid timely per vendor payment credit terms. Microsoft Dynamics GP served as the central ERP Financial system for payables operations across the organization.
