In 2015, Nordea Bank Danmark A/S implemented Temenos T24 to establish a unified Core Banking platform across multiple jurisdictions. Nordea Bank Danmark A/S implemented Temenos T24 Core Banking to support lending, deposits, and transaction product servicing as the primary banking engine for those business functions.
The program delivered solution, design and governance for Lending, Deposits and Transaction products on Temenos T24, with explicit configuration of loan lifecycle workflows, deposit account management and transaction processing and settlement functions consistent with Core Banking practices. Temenos T24 was extended through co-design of new features required for Nordea, aligning product definitions and operational parameters to Nordea banking rules.
Architecture and deployment were executed as a transformational consolidation of four countries onto a single platform, operating in a large complex environment with teams located across six countries. The delivery model used a scaled agile operating model, organizing workstreams around product lines and integration interfaces to support phased cutovers and transitional architecture states.
Program governance was led by a Core Banking Lead Architect for Lending, Deposits and Transaction products, serving as Lead Architect on a SAFe program with over 600 participants and directing a team of 20 architects. That architecture leadership focused on target and transitional architecture, solution governance, and coordinating cross-country rollout sequencing while embedding Temenos T24 into Nordea operational processes.
