In 2023 Ocealia implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial platform using the RISE with SAP offering, delivering a cloud-mode S/4 HANA deployment hosted at a hyperscaler and executed with PASaPAS as the implementation partner. The program was completed in eight months, and the migration migrated from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to a managed S/4 HANA environment supplied through the RISE commercial model.
The SAP S/4 HANA implementation concentrated on core financial capabilities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset accounting, financial close and consolidation, and embedded reporting and analytics, with a modernized user interface to improve ergonomics for finance teams. Configuration work emphasized standard S/4 HANA financial data models, ledger and document flow simplification, and role based Fiori experiences to align transaction and reporting workflows with group accounting policies.
Architecturally the solution is deployed in cloud mode at a hyperscaler, leveraging RISE with SAP managed services patterns and PASaPAS delivery for cutover, system conversion and configuration. Integrations and data migration were scoped to move financial master data and transactional history from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 into the new S/4 HANA database, and runtime operations were designed to centralize finance process execution across the group.
Governance and rollout were run as a centralized finance program led by PASaPAS, with structured cutover windows and change management focused on accounting, financial close cadence and reporting handoffs. The project delivered an innovative tool for the group that is described as both functionally modern and ergonomically improved, while completing the technical migration and cloud provisioning within the stated eight month timeframe.
