| SETL | Legacy | SETL IZNES Blockchain | Blockchain Platform | Blockchain | n/a | 2017 | 2017 | In 2017, OFI AM deployed SETL IZNES Blockchain, a Blockchain Platform, to support fund record keeping and distribution workflows across its asset management operations. The implementation leveraged proprietary technology developed by SETL and was positioned to be compatible with all distribution channels, with explicit objectives to reduce transaction costs, increase transparency, and optimize operational workflow. SETL IZNES Blockchain was configured around record-keeping and transaction validation capabilities common to a Blockchain Platform, with functional specifications defined collaboratively through user input and contributions from OFI AM and peer participants. The initial delivery by SETL in July 2017 included shared ledger visibility, validation controls, and orchestration features to streamline back office reconciliation and support new value-added services. The deployment was validated by OFI AM, Groupama AM, La Financière de l’Échiquier, and Arkéa Investment Services, signaling multi-firm operational coverage within the participating asset managers and across distribution channels. SETL and these participants continued joint development work to produce an enriched platform release, with the intention to progress the environment into production in early 2018. Governance for the implementation emphasized user-driven functional specifications and embedded platform controls to manage access, validation, and operational workflows. SETL IZNES Blockchain, as a Blockchain Platform, therefore established a collaborative record-keeping foundation intended to enable further service innovation by participants while maintaining ledger transparency and streamlined transaction processing. |
