In 2017, Onward Homes implemented Hireserve ATS, an Applicant Tracking System, to centralize recruitment workflows across the organization. The deployment targeted recruitment operations supporting Hiring Managers, Recruitment Business Partners, HR Generalists, L&D and payroll teams in the United Kingdom, using Hireserve ATS to manage the end to end hiring lifecycle from vacancy advertising through selection and onboarding.
The implementation configured core Applicant Tracking System capabilities including vacancy authorisation workflows, multi-channel vacancy advertising, applicant tracking through staged selection, interview scheduling and candidate feedback collection. Hireserve ATS was also used to generate offer packs and new starter kits and to record right to work checks, providing structured onboarding handoffs between recruiting teams and hiring managers.
Operational linkages were executed as process integrations rather than named technical integrations, with recruiting teams liaising with recruitment agencies and job boards for external advertising and coordinating with payroll and external benefit providers to ensure payroll and healthcare data handoffs. The platform anchored collaboration between Recruitment Business Partners, Hiring Managers, HR Generalists and the L&D team for training planning and onboarding scheduling. This positioned Hireserve ATS as the transactional hub for vacancy records and candidate lifecycle management.
Governance was formalised through the Hireserve ATS with vacancy authorisation controls, structured interview scheduling and documented feedback workflows, and accountable handoffs for right to work and onboarding verification.
