In 2015, OptumRx implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as an ERP Financial deployment to onboard an $18B business entity serving Specialty Prescriptions, focusing implementation effort on Supply Chain and Financials. The engagement centered on configuring core financial ledgers and supply chain transactional flows within Oracle E-Business Suite to support the new business entity's operational requirements.
Configuration and functional design work included creation of a new Legal Entity and the establishment of SLA and ADR rules for the business entity, alongside design of user interfaces, workflow orchestration, business process definitions, and workload management tools. The Oracle E-Business Suite implementation addressed both Supply Chain and Financials modules with detailed functional and technical designs to support transaction routing, approvals, and period-end controls.
Delivery followed an Agile Scrum model with a dedicated development lead responsible for functional design and development oversight, authoring user stories and acceptance criteria, and producing functional and technical design artifacts. The program delivered more than 30 designed solutions across ten two week sprints and produced a successful and accepted Proof of Concept for the configuration of the new Legal Entity and SLA/ADR rules.
Operational scope emphasized department level coverage across supply chain and finance functions for the Specialty Prescriptions business entity, with governance implemented through sprint based acceptance criteria and solution signoff workflows. Oracle E-Business Suite served as the central ERP Financial system underpinning the redesigned processes and tooling.

| UKG | Legacy | UKG Workforce Central Absence Manager (ex Kronos Workforce Absence Manager) | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017 OptumRx implemented UKG Workforce Central Absence Manager (ex Kronos Workforce Absence Manager) for Absence and Leave Management to formalize time off and absence workflows across its retail operations. The deployment focused on core absence and leave management capabilities, aligned policy automation, and integration with existing time and attendance operations managed by Kronos Workforce Central components.
The implementation included configuration and extension of multiple functional modules, notably Attendance and Leave of Absence policy engines, Accruals, Workforce Timekeeper, Scheduler and Advanced Scheduler components such as schedule groups, schedule templates, schedule generator, forecaster, workload planner and staffing assistant. Configuration work covered access profiles, payroll definitions, pay codes, display and labor level entries, employee groups, comments and transfer sets, supporting bargaining unit rules and union contract requirements captured by subject matter experts.
Integrations and interface work were explicit parts of the project, encompassing Person Import, Payroll Import and Export, Punch Import and Export, Accruals Import and Schedule Import and Export. The team developed inbound and outbound interface APIs and used Dell Boomi to link PeopleSoft with Kronos Workforce Dimensions functionality, supported ADP payroll file flows and maintained data exchange with mobile device management. Mobile platform support included Workforce Device Manager configuration, geo fenced and non geo fenced device profiles, and JDA Vortex mobile notifications to preserve mobile clocking and schedule visibility.
Governance and operational readiness included user acceptance testing across personas such as employee, manager, payroll admin and HR admin, ongoing production support for time and attendance, absence management and accruals modules, and periodic system software upgrades for testing and roll forward. Compliance work explicitly targeted audit findings, assisting OptumRx with unsigned timecards and incomplete Auto Time LMS training in remote desert locations, while SME involvement ensured configuration best practices and requirements traceability from union contracts.

| Quadient | Legacy | Quadient Neopost DS-180i Folder Inserter | Mailing System | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, OptumRx deployed the Quadient Neopost DS-180i Folder Inserter as a Mailing System. The implementation placed the Quadient Neopost DS-180i Folder Inserter at the center of OptumRx mail operations to handle high volume letter folding and insertion for transactional communications.
The solution was configured to process prior authorization, reorder and membership letters, with automation of folding, insertion and batch stacking consistent with Mailing System functional workflows. Configuration emphasized document type handling and batch segmentation to keep distinct letter classes separate through the inserter and downstream sorting stages.
Operational integration included direct handling of finished output from the AIMS printing system and handoffs to Neopost envelope stuffing machines, with staff operating, supplying and removing finished mailpieces from both the AIMS printing system and the Neopost envelope stuffing machines. Mailroom processes separated batches by type and document for carrier staging, specifically preparing sorted loads for USPS and Pitney Bowes pickup and delivery.
Governance focused on mailroom workflow orchestration and carrier staging controls, embedding quality checks at the inserter output and defined handoff procedures between printing, inserting and carrier pickup. The deployment emphasized centralized mail handling and standardized batch separation to support consistent pickup and delivery operations.
