FIS Global Legacy FIS Integrated Payables AP Automation ERP n/a 2015 2015
In 2015, Orsted implemented FIS Integrated Payables as a core component of its AP Automation environment. The implementation was organized through the companys Financial Shared Service model, with program governance aligned to an Agile Release Train approach led by a Release Train Engineer to coordinate finance workstreams and delivery cadence. FIS Integrated Payables was configured to support invoice capture and validation, automated approval workflows, exception management, supplier onboarding and payment orchestration consistent with AP Automation functional expectations. Configuration emphasized centralized invoice processing, workflow routing for multi‑entity approval chains, and configurable payment file generation to interface with external banking rails. Operational rollout was governed by the Financial Shared Service Release Train, using iterative sprints to onboard business unit workflows and standardize accounts payable process controls. Integration workstreams focused on establishing ERP connectivity and bank payment interfaces while operational ownership remained within finance and shared services, with the Release Train Engineer coordinating cross‑functional readiness and process adoption.

SAP Legacy SAP SuccessFactors Compensation Compensation Management HCM n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, Orsted implemented SAP SuccessFactors Compensation as part of a broader SAP HCM delivery organized under The People ART agile release train. The deployment used a SAFe Agile release train structure with product managers, a release train engineer, solution architects, product owners and scrum masters to secure backlog visibility and prioritization for DK Salary and Time and Payroll initiatives. Configuration work focused on HCM submodules including Personal Administration, Organizational Management, Time recording and Time evaluation, together with the SuccessFactors suite and SAP SuccessFactors Compensation. Orsted SAP SuccessFactors Compensation supports Compensation Management for HR and payroll business functions, with implementation attention to compensation planning workflows, role based approvals and pay element configuration consistent with compensation management best practices. Integrations linked SAP SuccessFactors Compensation to core SAP HCM components and to DK Salary and Time and Payroll systems to enable data exchange between personnel records, time capture and payroll calculation feeds. Operational coverage emphasized HR and Payroll teams in Denmark and relied on the agile delivery team to maintain product backlog, refine requirements and validate end to end data flows. Governance and rollout leveraged SAFe practices, with the solution architect securing solution definitions and the product manager and product owners aligning business and IT product needs. The operating model embedded continuous backlog prioritization and cross functional collaboration between HR operations, payroll and IT to govern compensation configuration and ongoing releases.

Hitachi Vantara Legacy Hitachi Ventyx FocalPoint Suite Asset Performance Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2011 2012
In 2011 Orsted implemented Hitachi Ventyx FocalPoint Suite for Asset Performance Management to support DONG Energy logistic processes and to formalize asset and work management across logistics and maintenance business functions. The initial work emphasized operationalizing asset master data, structured work order management and service orchestration to align maintenance planning with logistics execution. Configuration centered on modules typical of Asset Performance Management deployments, including an asset registry and hierarchy, work management and scheduling, condition based maintenance capabilities and workforce management integration via the Ventyx Service suite. The Hitachi Ventyx FocalPoint Suite was configured to support planning and execution workflows and to provide a centralized view for maintenance planners and logistics coordinators. Integrations were explicit and pragmatic, linking the FocalPoint Suite with SAP EAM, SAP SCM, SAP SAS and project planning systems, as well as non SAP PPM tools such as Primavera and MS Project Server. ABAP development resources were used to implement interfaces and to synchronize asset and work order records, enabling coordinated updates between ERP logistics, project planning and the APM platform. Governance and operational ownership rested with the ERP Logistics manager who oversaw approximately 20 staff across SAP EAM, SCM, SAS, PPM, ABAP development and Workforce management, and who was budget responsible and engaged in strategic sourcing abroad. The manager participated in project steering committees and acted as IT responsible for projects up to approximately 1 to 2 mio EUR, handled problem management and operational issues across multiple projects, and executed an accelerated hiring effort that added eight employees in nine months.
