In 2006 Pan-O-Gold implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for ERP Financial. The engagement provided part-time remote E1 9.0 technical support and configuration work using J.D. Edwards E1 9.0 tools to address work order processing and cost visibility requirements.
Work Order Revisions was modified to return the user to the previous form after adding a new work order, a change implemented specifically to reduce the number of clicks required during shop floor entry. That same application received a custom processing option to default the status when the completion date is entered, and a new push button was added to expose Labor and Detail and Parts Detail on demand. The Work with Work Order application was changed to automatically refresh after adding a new work order and to display Labor and Parts totals in the same manner as the Estimate to Actual Variance application.
The configuration and code changes targeted production and operations workflows, focusing on shop floor work order entry, labor capture, and parts costing visibility within Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. Delivery was executed remotely on a part-time support model, using J.D. Edwards E1 9.0 tools for development and deployment, and changes emphasized application-level automation and processing option governance to align form behavior with operational expectations.
