The implementation integrated the OpenText VIM instance with the SAP landscape, leveraging administration expertise on SAP BPC and SAP BI for financial reporting and consolidation, and integrating Vertex for tax determination as indicated in project notes. Interfaces were built to post validated invoices into SAP financials and to synchronize vendor and chart of accounts master data, with additional adapters for third party systems integration with SAP.
Governance and operations centered on aligning AP workflows to SAP master data governance and financial controls, with dedicated administration for OpenText Vendor Invoice Management alongside SAP BPC and BI components. Process orchestration emphasized exception governance, approval routing and operational handoffs between AP, finance reporting and tax determination functions.

In 2017, Par Pacific Holdings implemented SAP Enterprise Asset Management. The Enterprise Asset Management deployment targeted SAP PM with associated MM requirements across 15+ sites in the United States, supporting multiple business product lines and delivering asset planning, maintenance execution, and materials coordination.
Implementation work encompassed end to end PM/EAM activities including requirement collection, cross module gap analysis, configuration and development, process walk through testing, data mapping, data load, demo-driven user adoption, and cutover strategy preparation. The project produced functional requirement solutions and functional specifications for development, and used HPQC for requirement collection, SAP Solution Manager for configuration governance, and ARIS for documenting business flows.
Operational execution included coordination with a BI team for reporting requirements and cross functional integration between PM and MM processes. The delivery team was led across geographies with an approximately ten person core team and more than twenty people coordinated for data load activities, including offshore resources, and the program emphasized site level demos and workshops to drive standard design adoption.
Governance was enforced through a steering committee and a Change Arbitration Board to arbitrate local and legal gaps and approve exceptions. Explicit outcomes recorded by the project included PM team achievement of the data load milestone across sites, consistent Green status for PM deliverables, and business stakeholders providing an excellent rating for leadership and process walk throughs.
