In 2021, Paralyzed Veterans Of America implemented Sage Intacct as its ERP Financial platform. RSM US served as the systems integrator and led the cloud deployment and configuration for the organization’s finance and accounting functions.
The implementation focused on core Sage Intacct modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting, configured to centralize accounting workflows and standardize month-end close and billing procedures. Sage Intacct was provisioned as a cloud, API-first financial system to support automation and configurable workflow routing within the finance organization.
Integration planning included API connectivity to external business tools, with awareness of platform roadmap items announced at Sage Transform 2022. Those product developments include a new partnership to surface Microsoft 365 and Teams capabilities inside Sage Intacct, a redesigned data import process intended to simplify bulk data onboarding, and accounts payable bill automation capabilities that extend AP processing options.
Governance and rollout were implemented through finance-led controls, role-based access and approval workflows, and RSM US–facilitated training and operational handoff. The deployment established a centralized Sage Intacct instance to support Paralyzed Veterans Of America’s accounting operations and to enable adoption of subsequent Sage Intacct enhancements.
