Oracle Legacy Oracle PeopleSoft Absence Management Absence and Leave Management HCM n/a 2004 2004
In 2004, Parker Hannifin implemented Oracle PeopleSoft Absence Management. The deployment targeted the Absence and Leave Management category and was positioned to centralize leave administration across multiple domestic sites and remote HR locations. The implementation of Oracle PeopleSoft Absence Management included core absence tracking and Family Medical Leave Act case management, administration of leave programs such as workers compensation and medical claims, and employee self-service capabilities for benefit enrollment and payroll stub access. Configuration work produced an online Change of Status form and a standardized performance review form, the latter adopted for nationwide use by the corporation. Operational coverage extended across Eaton, Ohio, Lewisburg, Ohio, Brookville, Ohio, and remote management for Vero Beach, Florida, Dayton, Ohio, and Wickliffe, Ohio, supporting approximately 300 full time and 100 temporary employees at those sites. Practitioners performed system maintenance for new hires, terminations, and status changes within Oracle PeopleSoft Absence Management, and transitioned employee records into the PeopleSoft environment to consolidate HR transactions and leave records. Governance and process changes accompanied the technical implementation, including creation of a leave tracking system for accurate FMLA reporting, automation of affirmative action reporting, establishment of an HR employee record retention process, and development of training materials and nationwide user training led by HRIS subject matter experts. Reported outcomes from these explicit operational changes included reduced time employees were off on leave with lower disability pay cost, lower medical costs through wellness and on-site clinical programs, faster temporary staffing fill times, and reduced time required for governmental reporting due to automation.

Epicor Legacy Epicor Kinetic Manufacturing ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2012 2012
In 2012 Parker Hannifin implemented Epicor Kinetic as its Manufacturing ERP to standardize core production and enterprise resource planning capabilities across acquired business units. Following Parker's acquisition of Velcon Filters, the implementation scope explicitly included integrating Velcon operations into Parker business systems, with Epicor Kinetic positioned as the central Manufacturing ERP platform for manufacturing and operations functions. The Epicor Kinetic deployment was configured to support standard Manufacturing ERP workflows, including production scheduling, inventory management, shop floor control, procurement and financials, alongside quality management and traceability capabilities typical to the category. Configuration work focused on aligning master data models, bill of materials and routing structures to Parker manufacturing processes while preserving plant level control and shop floor data capture. Operationally the program ran alongside an existing Epicor Dataflo ERP installation for Velcon Filters, with the project lead acting as primary programmer and systems analyst for Epicor Dataflo while orchestrating interfaces and data mapping into Parker business systems. Integration activities emphasized master data consolidation, transactional interface design for orders and inventory, and reconciled financial posting flows to ensure operational continuity across manufacturing and corporate systems. Governance combined technical systems analysis with project leadership responsibilities, including configuration oversight, data mapping and interface testing, staged cutover coordination and user acceptance testing with manufacturing and IT stakeholders. Change control and crossfunctional acceptance criteria were applied to align manufacturing, operations and finance teams to the Epicor Kinetic Manufacturing ERP rollout.
