In 2014 Peaksware implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial system to consolidate accounting and order-to-cash workflows for its corporate organization and a recently acquired subsidiary. The 2014 deployment targeted core financial management capabilities and transactional consolidation across the parent and acquired entity.
The implementation included configuration and hands-on customization of Oracle NetSuite ERP, with SuiteScript 2.0 and Custom Records used to extend data models and automate bespoke business logic. Functional modules and capabilities implemented centered on core financials, accounts receivable and payable workflows, order management orchestration, and tax automation patterns consistent with ERP Financial deployments.
Integrations were explicitly delivered to onboard the subsidiary CRM, fulfillment and accounting systems into the NetSuite environment, and Avalara was integrated for tax calculation and compliance. Operational coverage spanned order fulfillment, accounting and CRM process owners, with the Director of Business Systems acting as in-house NetSuite Administrator and NetSuite Developer.
Governance and process work included discovery, documentation and operationalization of business critical processes, and building a supporting team of seven resources across developers, business analysts and order fulfillment. The engagement emphasized internal application ownership and iterative customization rather than reliance on outside implementation partners.
