In 2010 Peoples State Bank implemented Jack Henry Banking SilverLake as its Core Banking platform, executing an enterprise-wide automation initiative delivered through Jack Henry Banking's outsourced offering. The deployment was positioned as an outsourced, hosted model using Jack Henry's OutLink Data Centers and the vendor's scalable IBM Power hardware platform to centralize information and transaction processing.
The Jack Henry Banking SilverLake implementation included a broad set of functional modules and complementary solutions to support retail and operations workflows. Modules and capabilities implemented included ArgoKeys DepositKeys account opening and administration, the Vertex Teller Automation System, Synapsys sales force automation, NetTeller Online Banking, NetTeller Cash Management, NetTeller Bill Pay, goDough mobile banking, Electronic Statements Interactive, InTouch Voice Response telephone banking, Cognos 8 BI reporting, Yellow Hammer BSA compliance, Bounce Protection overdraft privilege, the 4|sight Item Imaging platform, components of the Synergy Enterprise Content Management solution, jhaPassPort ATM and debit card solutions, plus Intellix Consulting operational assessment and ECS Document Capture Service for back file scanning.
Architecturally the program leveraged SilverLake's open architecture and Jack Henry's claim of integration with more than 100 complementary solutions to enable cross-channel processing between teller, online, mobile, card, imaging, reporting, and compliance systems. The outsourced operational model shifted operational ownership of core processing to Jack Henry, consolidating data center operations and ongoing platform management while connecting front-line channels and back-office processing to the SilverLake core.
Governance and operational change emphasized a technology partnership with Jack Henry, with Peoples State Bank outsourcing information and transaction processing to allow the bank to concentrate on banking operations.
