Converga Legacy Converga InvoiceMe AP Automation ERP Financial Management n/a 2017 2017
In 2017, Perpetual implemented Converga InvoiceMe to standardize accounts payable processing. The Converga InvoiceMe deployment was scoped as an AP Automation initiative supporting invoice capture, electronic routing, and processing for finance and administrative teams across Perpetual, including support for executive offices such as the Head of Investment and the State Managing Partner for NSW. Converga InvoiceMe was configured to provide invoice intake, automated workflow routing, exception handling, and system administration capabilities consistent with AP Automation functional patterns. The implementation emphasized invoice data capture and approval orchestration, with configuration work to align approval paths to existing corporate signoff processes and to enable administrative users to manage vendor and invoice metadata. The solution was operated alongside Converga P2P and used in conjunction with Flexi Purchase for expense processing, reflecting an integrated appliance of Converga products in the procure to pay space. Converga InvoiceMe was used by accounts payable staff and personal assistants for invoice processing tasks, and the technical footprint emphasized interoperability between invoice processing and expense modules rather than broad ERP replatforming. Operational governance centered on system administration and workflow ownership within finance, with administrative users responsible for day to day invoice processing, room booking and reporting activities that surfaced from executive support functions. Process changes focused on formalizing invoice intake and approval workflows through Converga InvoiceMe, while ongoing administration and exception handling remained key operational responsibilities for Perpetual staff.

Workday Legacy Workday Compensation Compensation Management HCM n/a 2017 2017
Perpetual selected and deployed Workday Compensation in 2017 to replace legacy people systems as part of a broader move to Workday’s suite; the engagement centers on Compensation Management and builds on an already standardized Core HCM deployment. The new application was implemented as an integrated component of Perpetual’s Workday environment, consolidating compensation data with Time and Attendance and Learning modules to create a unified source of people data and support board‑level and Remuneration Committee reporting. Deployment targeted Perpetual’s global footprint (Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, the UK, the US and Europe) and was structured to enable acquisition integration and scale the HR model for international expansion. Using Workday’s SaaS model and regular releases, the implementation emphasized robust security, always‑on analytics and reduced manual data work; stated operational outcomes include streamlined and automated HR processes, exponentially improved employee self‑service and payslip access, enhanced confidence in people data for evidence‑based decision making, and freed HR capacity to focus on strategic priorities such as tracking variable pay and talent analytics.

Microsoft Legacy Microsoft Power BI Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2019 2019
In 2019 Perpetual implemented Microsoft Power BI to strengthen enterprise reporting and analytics across customer experience and operational functions. The Microsoft Power BI deployment was positioned in the Analytics and BI category and targeted customer experience teams, the PCS function, the call centre and executive board reporting within Perpetual's Australian operations. Implementation work focused on constructing dashboards and ad-hoc reports from the ground up, including the PCS Dashboard built in Microsoft Power BI. The engagement included redesign of the customer feedback survey to surface higher quality feedback data, development of training and procedure documentation, and delivery of workshops and training sessions to build self-service reporting capabilities and standardize report production. The implementation supported cross-project data needs, notably contributing reporting and data management for COVID early release payments and Project Dice, and providing analytics support to the Sonata Digital online investor portal rollout. Reporting assets and dashboards drew on enterprise customer and operational datasets, with oversight of critical data elements during the investor portal implementation and post-go-live enhancements. Governance and delivery processes were structured around agile practices, with user acceptance testing expanding into full project participation, requirements gathering, authoring user stories in Jira and routine sprint activities such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives. The program established a liaison function between technical and business teams, and applied change management practices in the call centre to align operational workflows to new reporting outputs. Outcomes called out in project records include enhanced overall reporting capabilities using Microsoft Power BI, simplified board reporting, empowerment of leadership to make more informed data-driven decisions and improved quality of feedback data for business change. The work continued into prioritisation and delivery of post-go-live enhancements, with analytics changes communicated up to executive management as required.
