In 2021 Perry Ellis International implemented Oracle Retail Point of Service as its Point Of Sale application. The Oracle Retail Point of Service deployment extended an existing Oracle Retail Cloud footprint that already included Oracle Retail Customer Engagement Cloud Services along with Oracle Retail Merchandising System, Oracle Retail Price Management, Oracle Retail Sales Audit, Oracle Retail Allocation, Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management, and Oracle Retail Central Office modules. The implementation concentrated on modernizing in-store POS workflows and surfacing unified customer profiles for personalized interactions, with configuration covering transaction processing, associate workflows, and loyalty redemption logic. The project advanced a migration to the latest Oracle Retail Xstore Point-of-Service to align POS transaction streams with the Customer Engagement profile and merchandising operations. Integration work was executed with support from BTM Global, providing functional and technical design, custom integration points, interface development, testing, and training. Program governance was led by PEI IT leadership with executive sponsorship and rigorous testing cycles, leveraging prior Customer Engagement work that produced a 360 degree view of over 1 million customers in under seven weeks. Perry Ellis International used Oracle Retail Point of Service as its Point Of Sale to operationalize omnichannel-store functions, tying associate-assisted sales, loyalty management, and ecommerce touchpoints into a unified in-store customer experience.
