In 2017 Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre completed the Oracle R12 UAT3 testing phase and delivered training through to production migration of Oracle E-Business Suite, as part of a statewide Oracle R12 Upgrade project involving about 80 Victorian public hospitals. The work targeted Oracle E-Business Suite within the ERP Financial category and emphasized go live activities, user acceptance testing governance, and cutover coordination for hospital finance teams. UAT3 completion and training were delivered successfully and formed the core milestones that led to production migration.
Functional configuration focused on core ERP Financial capabilities commonly deployed in Oracle R12, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and procurement modules, with workflows aligned to hospital finance processes and chart of accounts requirements. Operational scope covered finance and procurement departments at Peter MacCallum and was coordinated with the broader Victorian public hospital rollout under centralized upgrade governance and staged testing waves. Training and cutover sequencing were structured to prepare end users for production operations and to support immediate post go live stabilization.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016 Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central in a Core HR initiative, establishing Phase One as the foundational HR and payroll configuration effort. The engagement centered on provisioning Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll capabilities to support core personnel records, payroll calculation, and award interpretation for the organisation.
The Finance Business Lead and the HRIS Project team defined requirements and designed future state HR and payroll processes, working closely with the SAP SuccessFactors implementation partner and internal stakeholders. Implementation activities included configuration of Employee Central data models, payroll rule sets and incorporation of enterprise agreements, with explicit work to implement 18 award interpretations into the SAP payroll framework.
Operational coverage extended to Finance, People and Culture, and Payroll Operations, where a dedicated payroll team of six delivered payroll to a workforce of approximately 2800 employees. The implementation required vendor coordination with Datacom and Smart Salary for extended services, and the program incorporated business continuity planning to sustain payroll operations.
Governance responsibilities were centered on systems change management, risk management, and ensuring payroll processes met audit, quality control, regulatory and compliance requirements. The role maintained accountability for compliance reporting to the Victorian Auditor General's Office and Ernst and Young, led quality assurance activities, managed financial year end payroll reporting and responded to internal and external audit requirements.

| Epic Systems | Legacy | EPIC EHR | Electronic Health Record | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2019 | 2020 |
In 2019, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre implemented EPIC EHR, an Electronic Health Record application from Epic Systems. The implementation targeted enterprise clinical and administrative record functions across the Melbourne cancer center and its adjacent care services.
The engagement, led through Senior Business Analyst activities, designed the enterprise architecture for EPIC EHR including business processes, clinical workflows, data models, application topology and technology components. The team reverse engineered the existing system landscape and reporting solutions to produce configuration specifications that mapped patient management, chemotherapy administration, elective surgery scheduling and allied health workflows into the EPIC EHR environment.
Operational coverage explicitly included the Elective Surgery Information System ESIS, Peter Mac at Home, the Chemotherapy Day Unit, Palliative Care, Allied Health and Infection Prevention and Management, with MS Visio diagrams and process documentation used to align clinical pathways and reporting requirements. Specifications produced supported decision support and reporting modules and informed the configuration of service line specific workflows within the Electronic Health Record.
Program governance and rollout activities defined migration strategies, cutover sequencing and decommissioning plans, and included creation of test cases and management of user acceptance testing. The project also recommended and implemented Continuous Improvement Process action items to establish ongoing configuration governance and post go live workflow refinement.
