Oracle Legacy Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial ERP n/a 2007 2018
In 2007, Phoenix Technologies implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial platform. Operational coverage extended to 12 international locations and was governed by a centralized IT operations and applications organization, which included five Directors and a staff of 65 employees managing a $15M operating budget. Integrations were explicitly implemented, installed, and supported on time and within budget, with governance focused on application development, architecture, operations, and integrated systems to support finance, human resources, client services, and business intelligence functions.

Oracle Legacy Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR HCM n/a 2000 2000
In 2000, Phoenix Technologies implemented Oracle Cloud HCM as a Core HR deployment to consolidate HR and payroll related processes. The program included an Oracle upgrade from 11.0.3 to 11i 11.5.4 and focused on HR module configuration, payroll enablement, and accounts payable extensions to support automated employee payments. Implementation work included developing an interface process to transfer employee data from the BEST IMPERATIVE HRIS system into the Oracle HR module, and configuring Oracle Cash Management to perform bank reconciliation workflows. Functional capabilities implemented included employee data ingestion and master data synchronization, cash management reconciliation, Positive Pay processing, and custom AP extensions to perform Direct Deposit for US and Taiwan users. Integrations explicitly implemented were the BEST IMPERATIVE HRIS to Oracle HR interface and bank connectivity via Oracle Cash Management and Positive Pay for payment validation. The AP customizations removed the need to manually print expense reimbursement checks, and the direct deposit build targeted both domestic and Taiwan payroll payment rails, indicating cross-border payroll payment orchestration within the Core HR scope. Governance and rollout were executed with project controls that delivered the HRIS interface and Direct Deposit projects on time and within budget, and senior management provided awards and recognition for the timely delivery. The program produced significant cost savings through elimination of manual check printing and streamlined reconciliation, and the team evaluated enterprise portals to provide end users a standard interface for accessing HR and payment related applications.
