The project addressed a specific limitation of Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise, which lacked robust third-party integration capability including point of sale connectivity, by moving to Sage Intacct and enabling centralized transaction management between the 14 entities. Operational coverage includes the franchise finance team and business owners who now can pull financial data and reports from any entity in real time, supporting consolidated close and day to day financial analysis.
Governance and process changes focused on eliminating manual reconciliation workflows and error prone spreadsheets, instituting single-source financial records and dashboards to track key performance indicators. Outcomes reported by the franchise include elimination of duplicate billing risk, removal of spreadsheet based reporting, cloud access to financials from anywhere, and freeing finance leaders to focus on strategic activities and the stated growth plan to expand to 25 plus clubs.
