In 2002, PLUS Supermarkt implemented Exact Globe as its core ERP Financial system to consolidate payroll and salary accounting across retail operations in the Netherlands. The deployment targeted payroll setup for 60 stores, the Service Office and five distribution centers, covering payroll processing for approximately 1,200 employees and embedding salary accounting into the financial ledger.
Exact Globe was configured to support payroll and salary processing, pension administration, and early retirement calculations, and to handle payroll-related financial postings. The implementation encompassed time and planning workflows tied to SoftBrick timekeeping, fleet accounting for a 200 car lease program, and salary-specific functionality delivered through Exact Globe 2003 Enterprise.
Operational integration linked Exact Globe with the Management Personnel Information System Workforce ADP for personnel master data and with SoftBrick for time capture, while QlikView was used for reporting and analytics that surfaced payroll and workforce metrics. These integrations supported end-to-end flows from time registration and personnel records to payroll execution and financial posting within the ERP Financial environment.
Governance established a central HRIS project management function responsible for rolling out Workforce ADP to HR departments and employees, delivering CAO-aligned time registration configuration and end user training, supervising outsourced payroll operations, and managing the rollout of lease car policy and tendering. Functional management for time and planning was retained, with ongoing development and rollout activities to extend Workforce and time registration capabilities across sites.

In 2009, PLUS Supermarkt implemented ADP Workforce Now as its Core HR application. The deployment centralized payroll and personnel information capabilities, covering payroll administration for 60 stores, salary administration for the Service Office and five distribution centers, and payroll processing for approximately 1,200 employees.
ADP Workforce Now was configured to support core HR and payroll modules, including payroll administration, salary administration, pension administration and pre-pension workflows. The implementation positioned ADP Workforce Now as the Personnel Information System for HR recordkeeping and was managed by an internal application manager responsible for further development and rollout.
The program included an explicit integration with the Softbrick time registration and planning system, and the time registration configuration was set up on the basis of the applicable Collective Labor Agreement. Rollout activities extended to individual store locations, distribution centers and HR departments, with end user training delivered to operational staff and HR users to operationalize time capture and payroll feeds.
Governance was structured around a named project manager role that owned design, development and the staged rollout of Workforce, with responsibilities that included supervising and outsourcing parts of the salary administration. Fleet and lease car administration was incorporated into the operational scope, covering management of 230 cars and a dedicated rollout and tendering process for lease car policy implementation.

In 2021, PLUS Supermarkt implemented RELEX Space Planning within its Retail Management environment, building on a concurrent deployment of RELEX forecasting and replenishment that began the same year. The implementation of RELEX Space Planning was positioned to replace manual spreadsheet workflows for promotion planning, enabling a more structured, system-driven approach to campaign design and execution.
The deployment focused on functional modules for promotion planning, promotion management, and promotional optimization, combined with space planning capabilities and demand forecasting inputs. RELEX Space Planning was configured to support evidence based decision making by category managers, to coordinate campaign assortment and shelf space, and to model price and promotion scenarios for negotiations with suppliers.
Operational coverage includes rollout to every store in the PLUS, PLUS Vandaag, and COOP formats across the Netherlands, spanning 500 plus locations. The RELEX Space Planning implementation is integrated with the existing RELEX forecasting and replenishment components already in use, creating a unified Retail Management workflow that links assortment and space decisions with demand signals and replenishment plans, and that impacts category management, merchandising, and supply chain planning.
Governance and process changes centered on shifting promotion planning from spreadsheet driven tasks to standardized system workflows, improving analytical visibility for campaign planning and enabling centralized campaign configuration with local execution. Documented objectives for the program include optimizing promotion planning and management, ensuring high availability of campaign products, increasing profitability of promotions, and improving customer satisfaction.
