In 2019 Italian Post deployed Explora Process from Integris to introduce Process Mining capabilities across its postal and back-office workflows. The deployment positioned Explora Process as the primary Process Mining application for visibility into logistics and payments operations in Italy. The implementation focused on process discovery, conformance analysis, variant analysis and performance analytics, using Explora Process to consume event-level operational data from postal sorting, delivery and payments processing workflows. Configuration emphasized process model generation, throughput and bottleneck analysis, and case-level drilldown to support operational root cause investigations. Integris worked with Italian Post to roll out these analytics across logistics and payments teams in Italy, embedding process mining outputs into operational review and compliance controls. Governance changes included formalized reporting and monitoring of process conformance, and operational owners in logistics and payments were assigned to act on identified deviations and inefficiencies. Reported outcomes included improved process visibility and support for compliance and efficiency initiatives, aligned to Italian Post business functions in logistics and payments.
