Data integration architecture connected Microsoft Power BI to multiple sources including Excel, Oracle 11.0, and flat files, with Informatica PowerCenter used for ETL orchestration and Azure used for cloud provisioning and platform services. The project applied data modeling techniques and designed data flows to meet integration and performance expectations, while Agile Version One guided iterative delivery and prioritization of reporting changes and new metrics.
Governance centered on data security requirements, with collaboration between analytics and technology teams to implement data security policies and workspace level access controls. The team developed Microsoft Power BI expertise across the enterprise to drive adoption and increase visibility into metrics, refined and automated recurring processes, tracked issues and documented changes, and participated in strategic and tactical planning to evolve reporting and analytics capabilities.
