In 2018, Prada Group deployed Aura Blockchain DPP, a Blockchain Platform, to issue and distribute non fungible tokens as digital twins for the Timecapsule collection. The engagement focused on creating verifiable digital artifacts tied to individual luxury items, using tokenization workflows and cryptographic provenance to anchor digital identity to physical products.
The Aura Blockchain DPP implementation included functional capabilities for NFT issuance, provenance tracking, metadata management, and lifecycle controls, configured to generate unique token identifiers and persistent ownership records. Smart contract based issuance and cryptographic signature mechanisms were instrumented to ensure immutable transaction records and to support token transfer and verification processes.
Deployment leveraged the Aura Blockchain Consortium network architecture as the underlying distributed ledger, with the solution provisioning certificate distribution to end consumers and authorized stakeholders. Operational coverage aligned directly with the Timecapsule product release, integrating blockchain issued digital twins into product authentication and customer engagement business functions.
Governance was defined around token schema, issuance policies, role based key management for brand custodians, and procedures for on chain verification during the collection rollout. The implementation delivered issuance and distribution of NFTs representing digital twins for Prada Group Timecapsule items using the Aura Blockchain DPP Blockchain Platform.
