The program managed over 1,800 customer accounts, a £329m debtors ledger and £137m of commercial accruals, and the team assisted with project scope and planning for an SAP TPM and CRM Commercial spend tool for the Group.
Governance and process changes accompanied the technical rollout, including two major restructures, people development activities, recruitment, one to one sessions and formal appraisals. Reported outcomes included improved Debt in Terms to deliver 98% in core cash collection, improved cash flow forecasting to 95% accuracy, reduction in customer deductions queries from £75m to £18m within one year, a 30% reduction in shared service headcount and a decrease in running costs from £10m to £5m per annum.
