Oracle Legacy Oracle Cloud ERP Accounts Payable AP Automation ERP n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, ProVita International Medical Center implemented Oracle Cloud ERP Accounts Payable as part of a broader Oracle Fusion Finance deployment, targeting AP Automation across its Abu Dhabi operations and child entities. The implementation was positioned within Oracle Fusion Financials to address core payables workflows and to align accounts payable with general ledger, receivables, fixed assets, taxation, and cash management processes. The Oracle Cloud ERP Accounts Payable implementation included configuration of Oracle Sub-ledger Accounting for procurement, cost accounting, and receipt accounting, and incorporation of approval controls through Oracle Approval Management BPM. Functional workstreams covered invoice processing, accounts payable approval hierarchies, form personalization, and reporting, with customized OTBI and BI Publisher layouts developed to support finance and procurement reporting requirements. Integrations were executed with external systems using Oracle Integration Cloud and SFTP adaptor, specifically connecting biometric attendance and billing and claim systems into the Fusion landscape. The deployment ran alongside broader Oracle SCM and HCM modules, including inventory re-implementation with lot and expiry management, order management, expense, and human resources modules, creating an integrated operational footprint across finance, supply chain, procurement, and HR functions. Governance and rollout included requirement gathering, solutioning, report design with RD documentation, and structured end user training plus user manual creation for transactional users in inventory, procurement, expense, and reconciliation processes. Approval structures and hierarchies for procurement and payables were designed and enforced through Oracle Approval Management, establishing workflow governance and standardized signoffs for accounts payable processing.

In 2018 ProVita International Medical Center implemented Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management to standardize Absence and Leave Management across its Oracle Fusion HCM environment. The deployment targeted NMC ProVita and its child entities in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, positioning the Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management application within a broader Oracle Fusion suite footprint used by HR and payroll functions. The implementation included configuration of Oracle Global Human Resources Cloud and the Absence Management module, with complementary HCM capabilities such as Oracle Expense and Oracle Performance Management referenced as part of the overall HCM landscape. Functional workstreams covered absence types, accrual rules, entitlement profiles, leave request workflows, and form personalization with descriptive flexfields and customized screens to align HR process requirements with system fields. Integrations were implemented using Oracle Integration Cloud and SFTP adaptor mechanisms to ingrate time and attendance signals and downstream systems. Explicit integrations included a biometric attendance system and a billing and claim system, enabling absence validation and cross system data flows, while reporting and analytics leveraged OTBI and BI Publisher for customized absence and HR reports. Governance and operationalization encompassed Approval Management configured through Oracle BPM to establish absence approval hierarchies, end user training and creation of user manuals, and ongoing support and reporting handoffs. The implementation narrative centers on Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management as the core Absence and Leave Management solution integrated into ProVita’s Oracle Fusion HCM landscape with enterprise reporting, approval workflows, and system personalization.
