GB Group Legacy GBG Digital Risk Management Risk Management TRM n/a 2009 2009
In 2009, QNB Finansbank adopted GBG Instinct and implemented GBG Digital Risk Management as its application fraud and Risk Management engine to improve origination fraud detection across its banking operations in Turkey. The bank deployed the solution to enable rapid policy rule changes and to centralize fraud decisioning for originations. The implementation focused on a rule management console and real time fraud detection capabilities, using the GBG Instinct detection engine within the GBG Digital Risk Management platform. Configuration emphasized business user accessible policy rule tooling, rapid rule deployment workflows, and automated decision scoring typical of Risk Management applications. Operationally the deployment covered origination channels and fraud operations within QNB Finansbank in Turkey, with the project going live within a year of initial engagement. After go live the bank reported faster rule deployment and reduced reliance on IT for fraud rule changes, shifting governance of policy updates toward fraud operations and origination teams. Governance changes centered on enabling nontechnical policy owners to author and publish detection rules through GBG Digital Risk Management, while fraud operations retained oversight of tuning and alerts. The bank cited improved detection and faster policy iteration as primary benefits reported after the implementation.
