Configuration work emphasized maintenance project planning and execution using lean six sigma methodology, and included modules for budgeting to develop and control fixed and variable maintenance budgets and for preparation and monitoring of contracts.
Operational coverage targeted maintenance planners and technical personnel, industrial services teams, logistics and contractor management, aligning business functions across maintenance, procurement and project execution. HxGN EAM (Ex. Infor EAM) served as the system of record for contractor management, contract monitoring and resource allocation needed to support equipment reliability and availability.
Governance and process design embedded execution oversight, contractor controls and budgetary accountability into day to day operations, with responsibilities assigned to maintenance leaders and planners. The stated objective of the implementation was to ensure execution of preventive and corrective maintenance with excellence, guaranteeing spare parts and services to maximize reliability and availability of equipment at the minimum total cost of maintenance.
