| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Payable | AP Automation | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2012 | 2012 |
In 2012, Quanta Services implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Payable as part of a broader JDE system deployment that included GL, AR, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Contract and Service Billing, HR, and Payroll. The initiative targeted AP Automation capabilities and began with creation of a global mapping template aligned to JDE 9.0 and 9.2 functional models to standardize invoice and vendor data definitions across operating units.
The implementation included technical design and conversion work, with analysis of existing source data to populate JDE tables, design and development of conversion programs, and identification of new development items through gap analysis. Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Payable configuration was augmented by custom processes such as vendor and invoice setup applications built on JDE standard Z processes, approval routes, BI Publisher reports, CafeOne layouts, and E1 pages to support procure to pay workflows.
Integration work was an explicit element of the program, with designed business services enabling third party GPS systems to retrieve JDE data, enhancements to Vertex Wio log for Canadian tax handling, and batch processes to exchange data with third party financial and forecasting systems. The team also created JSON payloads for Boomi to expose employee benefits via AIS, and used Orchestrator to automate importing data files into purchase order Z tables and create purchase orders, extending AP Automation to upstream procurement sources.
Governance and operational coverage spanned finance, procurement, HR benefits, field operations, and corporate asset teams, with leased asset maintenance and equipment utilization processes allowing operational unit users to upload data and corporate users to maintain records. The program placed emphasis on security and operational handoffs, working with the CNC team for security setup and establishing approval routes and process controls as part of rollout governance.
Ongoing maintenance and support responsibilities were formalized under a technical lead role, including mentoring developers to troubleshoot production issues, analyzing user requests with business analysts for functional design, and preparing technical recommendations for a future JDE 9.2 upgrade to evaluate custom objects and replace custom enhancements where appropriate. The narrative centers on Quanta Services Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Accounts Payable AP Automation implementation as an integrated, technically driven program covering conversion, integration, configuration, and long term application support.

In 2015, Quanta Services implemented Viewpoint Spectrum as its Construction ERP for the Pipeline Integrity Division. The division operations lead managed evaluation and implementation of all technology solutions supporting field data collection, estimation, scheduling, and billing during the deployment.
Viewpoint Spectrum was configured to centralize billing and project accounting workflows, with implementation emphasis on Spectrum Optimization for billing processes.
