Workday Oracle E-Business Suite Workday Financial Management ERP Financial ERP n/a 2018 2020
In 2018, Quicken Loans implemented Workday Financial Management as its ERP Financial platform, migrating core accounting workloads from Oracle E-Business Suite. The engagement covered a broad finance footprint across the organization, with explicit configuration and rollout activity originating from Detroit, Michigan and focused on centralized financial operations and planning processes. The Workday Financial Management implementation included configuration of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Financial Accounting, Banking and Settlements, Cash Management, Procurement supplier invoices, and Business Assets. Adaptive Insights was embedded for planning and forecasting across sales, talent and financial functions, and revenue management and customer accounts capabilities were implemented to support end to end accounting and invoicing workflows. Integrations, data migration, reporting and testing were a defined part of the program, with teams responsible for integration mapping, data conversion and distributed report configuration. The program worked closely with HR data owners to align HCM business rules for payroll GL, absence management and talent related financial flows, ensuring HR to finance data handoffs and security of shared datasets. Governance controls were formalized through Workday security roles and groups to enforce confidentiality and segregation of duties, and a new cost center security model was introduced to apply security to distributed reports and integrations. Account posting rules, work tags, validations and supplier and customer setups were configured as part of accounting governance and operational control. Post deployment activities included daily support, error resolution, bank reconciliation, asset setup, report writer maintenance, budgets and planning support, and ongoing testing and defect resolution discovered during integration testing. Workday Financial Management now serves as Quicken Loans ERP Financial system of record for the enumerated finance and planning functions.

Workday Legacy Workday HCM Core HR HCM n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, Quicken Loans implemented Workday HCM in the Core HR category. The 2016 Workday HCM deployment targeted enterprise HR operations for Quicken Loans, supporting HR processes for the company's approximately 24,000 employees in the United States, and began with structured business requirements gathering and test planning. Workday HCM configuration focused on Core HR functional coverage, including employee master data, organizational and position management, hire to retire transaction workflows, and onboarding and offboarding processes. Business requirements were used to define security roles, business process framework rules, and data object mappings inside Workday HCM to align configuration with HR operational needs. The engagement emphasized scripted functional testing and user acceptance testing, with requirements translated into test cases to validate HR transactions, data integrity, and routing logic. Testing and defect management were coordinated through formal test plans and sign off procedures to refine configuration and confirm system functionality. Operational coverage concentrated on HR operations, talent administration, and employee services, with process documentation and test artifacts retained to support governance and future release activity. The stated scope comprised requirements capture and validation of system functionality for Workday HCM within Quicken Loans' Core HR environment.

Salesforce Legacy Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) Field Service Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, Quicken Loans implemented Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) as its Field Service Management solution to support field execution and mobile-enabled service workflows. The deployment was built on the Salesforce Lightning platform, leveraging Lightning Components and the aura framework together with Field Service Lightning on mobile devices to deliver configurable field scheduling and work order orchestration. The implementation included extensive configuration of workflow rules, related tasks, email alerts, and field updates to enforce operational processes. Engineers designed custom objects, tabs, records, and views within Salesforce to model service workflows and added pick lists, dependent pick lists, lookup and master detail relationships, plus validation and formula fields to enforce data integrity. Custom development was significant, with Visualforce pages using JavaScript Remote objects, reusable Lightning components, and customization of the Salesforce1 mobile app using the Lightning component aura framework and the Salesforce Lightning Design System. Server side logic was implemented with advanced Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and test classes, and web services were developed to support SIG integrations and multiple third party services used by the application. Quicken Loans also participated in CPQ and CLM implementation lifecycles, delivering end to end implementations of Apttus CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, and CLM, and produced a proof of concept for Pardot Automation and a B2B market solution. Governance and rollout emphasized workflow-driven configuration and component reuse to align field operations, service management, and contract and pricing workflows under the Salesforce Field Service platform.
