In 2015 QVC Poland implemented Serrala FinanceSuite Accounts Payable as its AP Automation solution. The deployment targeted the corporate accounts payable function within QVC Poland, consolidating invoice processing, payment execution, vendor master maintenance and AP reporting workflows under Serrala FinanceSuite Accounts Payable.
The implementation configured invoice capture and validation for both PO and non PO invoices, invoice sorting, coding and matching, exception handling and dispute resolution workflows. Functional capabilities implemented included automated payment proposal generation, approval routing for payment proposals, check run orchestration, electronic and manual payment processing, vendor statement reconciliation, and query management for supplier and client inquiries.
Integrations were established with SAP for PO and non PO invoice processing and with Dolphin Process Tracking for invoice workflow tracking, reflecting explicit operational tools used by AP staff. Operational coverage included the Kraków accounts payable team and broader finance stakeholders responsible for vendor maintenance, daily reconciliation and periodic reporting, with Excel based daily weekly and monthly reporting instruments retained for operational reporting.
Governance and process changes embedded role level responsibilities for AP associates including research and resolution of invoice discrepancies, preparing and performing check runs, and following approval workflows for payment proposals. Serrala FinanceSuite Accounts Payable was the central AP Automation system, and its configuration emphasized structured approval flows, vendor master controls and audit oriented transaction processing consistent with corporate finance controls.
