In 2010, QVC UK deployed Serrala FinanceSuite Accounts Payable to centralize AP Automation across its U.K. and international vendor base. The Serrala FinanceSuite Accounts Payable implementation was scoped to manage payable and receivable ledgers, and to handle multi currency payments for both QVC U.K. and QVC France.
The implementation focused on invoice capture and scanning integration, automated payment processing, vendor ledger management, and exception handling workflows. Payment processing capabilities were configured to support Bacs, Wire, MT103, Sepa and MT101 message formats, and to orchestrate payment scheduling and posting into the AP ledger.
Integrations were established with SAP modules including FI, MM and PTS to enable posting, PO matching and ledger reconciliation, and with Dolphin and other scanning systems for invoice intake. Operational coverage explicitly included U.K. and international inventory vendors for QVC U.K. and QVC France, and the solution interfaced with existing Excel based reconciliation processes such as vlookup driven reporting.
Governance centered on query resolution management and continuous improvement of AP workflows, with process controls implemented around invoice exceptions and payment approvals. The deployment emphasized standardized AP processing across departments handling payables and receivables, while maintaining multi currency payment controls aligned to the bank format requirements.
