In 2021 the Real Estate Council of Ontario implemented Simply Voting as its Voting Management solution. The deployment places Simply Voting on reco.on.ca to host and manage online balloting, establishing a clear Real Estate Council of Ontario, Simply Voting, Voting Management relationship for member elections and governance workflows in Ontario Canada.
Simply Voting is configured to support standard Voting Management capabilities including ballot creation and scheduling, voter authentication and access control, secure vote capture and tabulation, and comprehensive audit logging. Configuration work focused on role based administration for electoral officers, time bounded voting windows, and reportable result exports to support governance oversight.
The implementation is integrated with RECO's public website to present voting interfaces or linked secure voting pages to eligible voters, and it is used to operationalize council and membership balloting processes. Operational coverage centers on governance, membership services, and communications functions within the Real Estate Council of Ontario, with ballots published to the Ontario member base.
Governance changes emphasized formalized vote provisioning workflows, eligibility validation, and retention of audit records within the Voting Management platform to support compliance and administrative review. Administrative processes were structured around the application workflow, with electoral administrators managing ballots, voter lists, and post election reporting inside Simply Voting.
